Ilford lies within the London Borough of Redbridge, a diverse borough with plenty of green spaces, sports amenities and a bustling urban centre offering excellent shopping facilities. Although only seven miles from London, Ilford is close to open countryside and has parts of the ancient woodland of Epping Forest within its boundaries.
